The Castle Heights Neighborhood consists of approximately 1,000 residential homes, an elementary school, some condos and apartments and a senior home and other businesses.  Located just south of the Beverlywood Association, it is bordered by National Blvd to the south, Canfield to the east, Cattaraugus to the north and Beverwil to the west.  There is a Castle Heights Neighborhood Association, a volunteer group that was founded in 1979 to enhance the enjoyment of the neighborhood.  There is a nice mixture of single family homes constructed between the 1920's and late 1940's with Spanish, Tudor and Traditional being some of the more popular styles.
Castle Heights is part of the city of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Unified School District.  Castle Heights Elementary School, Palms Middle School and Alexander Hamilton High School
service the children in the neighborhood.
